Schedule:

Part Time.  Hours may vary depending on business need.  Must have open availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • -Prepares food served using established production procedures and systems.

  • -Determines amount and type of food and supplies required using production systems.

  • -Ensures availability of supplies and food or approved substitutions in adequate time for preparation.

  • -Complies with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards.

  • -Complies with proper food preparation and handling techniques.

  • -Stores food properly and safely, marking the date and item.

  • -Reports necessary equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor.

  • -Correctly prepares all food served following standard recipes and special diet orders.

  • -Maintains daily production records.

  • -Keeps work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation.

  • -Completes food temperature checks.

  • -Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

  • -Perform other duties as directed.


Physical Demands:

-Well-paced mobility required during the entire shift.

-Ability to reach, bend, stand and stoop for long periods of time.

-Be able to manipulate fingers, hands and arms to cut, measure, pour, serve, carry and wipe.

-Strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.

-Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other team members.


Required Education and Experience:

-High school diploma or GED.

-2 years experience cooking in a restaurant or brewpub.


Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

-Must be 18 or older.

-Must be able to pass the ServSafe Food Handler Training.
